JAXSON HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING!
Jaxson is a 1.5 year old (DOB August 2014) black male. He was surrendered to rescue because of life changes. Jaxson is a sweet and friendly guy who enjoys playing with other larger sized dogs. Jaxson currently lives with a male mastiff/dogo in his foster home and gets along great with him.
Jaxson is crate trained and house broken. Leaving him
uncrated has been mostly successful, but it seems he likes looking out the window and if the blinds get in the way he’s been known to remove them!
Jaxson does not have great leash skills but is learning proper manners. He loves going for walks and car rides and his favorite toy is a supersized tennis ball for catching. He enjoys bacon as a treat. He does need a 6 foot fence.
He has lived with children and would be okay with older kids, 10+ years old. His adopters will need to commit to working on exposing Jaxson to new, controlled situations as he can be unsure of anything new. Jaxson is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heart worm tested negative and on a monthly prevention.
