Dudley is a 7 year old (DOB November 2008) harlequin male Great Dane. He prefers the company of a favorite human, nearly to the exclusion of everyone else. He does not frequently engage the other large dogs in his foster home, but does not mind them as long as they respect his space. His exuberant outbursts are short-lived, but he’ll give you a run for your money. When he does play he can be a brute, preferring to use his massive size to push the others around. He is impeccably behaved on a leash in low-key environments, and doing well around more distractions. He loves his walks around the neighborhood. . A quiet home without smaller pets (Dudley has a high prey drive) or children would be ideal. He is not destructive, stays off the furniture, and will crate calmly if needed. He can be a bit head-strong but is very obedient in the house. Dudley will be your most attentive shadow and deserves to be the center of attention after all he’s been through. Dudley is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested negative and on monthly heartworm prevention.
