Calli

UPDATE 09/03/15:
Calli has a meet and greet Labor Day weekend! Hoping Calli finds her forever home!

Calli is an approximately 4 year old (DOB July 2011) mantle female with natural ears; she is currently about 115 pounds but needs to gain some weight.  Calli is crate trained and housebroken.  Calli spent the first part of her life in a puppy mill, having multiple litters.  Thankfully the operation was shut down in July and she came into rescue.  Her foster mom says she is still a puppy at heart and loves to run laps around the back yard.  She loves playing with the male Dane that she lives with and has done great with any dog she has met.  Unfortunately due to her background, we have no idea if she has ever been exposed to children or cats.  Calli is very quick to please and is learning what life is like inside a home and how fun toys are; her favorite past time is chewing on a dog bone.   She needs a minute to warm up to new people as she not had the opportunity to meet people in her previous life.  She can be a little hand shy, but is learning to trust people so her foster home goes a bit slowly with her.   She is fine being crated however she does not need a crate/isn’t destructive when left out.  She would do great with another dog in the home or as a single dog, she really bonds to the people in the home.

Calli is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heart worm tested (negative) and on monthly preventative.
