Ranger

Ranger was adopted by the Greenberg/Collin family in December 2025.

Ranger (DOB September, 2022) is an affectionate boy who bonds deeply with his people.  He loves to cuddle up in bed and will also follow you throughout the house so he can stay close.

Ranger enjoys being part of the goings-on in the home.  He will often insert himself into family conversations happening in his foster home’s kitchen, placing his paws on the counter to gain height and truly be part of the gang.  As his people are very important to him, he is best suited to a household where someone is home frequently.

He has a moderate energy level and is a balanced mix of play and lounging. He does like toys, but blankets and pillows are his absolute favorites.  Not only does he artfully arrange them into the perfect snuggle nest, he will gum them in joy until they are soggy.

Ranger is always ready to accompany you on outings, but can be a little shy when meeting new people.  He warms up quickly though and then wants his share of attention.  Ranger is kid-friendly and is recommended with older children.  He is also dog-friendly and would appreciate having a canine companion to join him in his daily zoomies.  He has no history with cats.

He is crate trained and has good leash manners.  Obedience training has been slow going and he has only mastered the down command so far.  He’s an easygoing boy though and is generally well behaved in the home.  His one guilty pleasure is countersurfing and he will help himself to any snacks that are left out.  He will require a fenced yard.

Ranger is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative. He is fostered in Lake Alfred and is ready for adoption. If you would like to make him a part of your family, please fill out an application and submit the processing fee.
