AVAILABLE! Lilo

Lilo (DOB August, 2024) is a gentle girl who attaches deeply to her people and loves to stay close.  She’s extremely affectionate and will shower you with hugs and kisses.  She also likes cuddle time on the couch and is an avid watcher of TV.

Lilo can be cautious around new people, so she’ll need slow introductions and time to adjust.  Once she feels comfortable, she really opens up and craves all the attention. Being extremely sensitive to changes in her environment, a calm and quiet home is essential. She’s best suited to a household without small children or a lot of coming and going, which should help her feel more secure.

She has an abundance of young dog energy and spends much of her day playing.  She requires another fur friend in the home that will share her love of fun.  While she has no history with cats, she has not reacted to the ones she has seen on walks.

Lilo needs to be crated when home alone, as she can be a bit destructive if left to her own devices. In order to keep her crate time to a minimum, a household with someone around more frequently is preferred. Lilo has good leash manners and enjoys going on walks.  She’s a smart girl who learns quickly and enjoys the structure that comes with training. She’s also good in a vehicle and is cooperative for basic grooming.  Lilo will require a fenced yard.

She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.  She is fostered in Titusville and is ready for adoption. If you would like to make her a part of your family, please fill out an application and submit the processing fee. If you have questions about Lilo or the adoption process, please email our adoption coordinator – cherie@gdlcf.org.
