Hera (DOB August 2020) is a Great Dane/St. Bernard mix weighing in at 116# (DNA results below). She is a laid-back girl with an easy rhythm—she’s unhurried, thoughtful and content to take in the world at her own pace. She’s naturally affectionate yet independent, happy to show love while also enjoying her own space. Comfortable simply being near her people, she doesn’t need constant interaction or attention.
She can be playful when the mood strikes and has a special fondness for plush toys and balls. Fetch and tug are favorites and she’s always up for a little fun before stretching out for a nap.
Hera is mannerly in public and genuinely enjoys being out and about. She’s outgoing, makes friends easily and loves social activities. Car rides are a joyful event—she’s the kind of dog who would happily sign up for every road trip adventure.
In the home, Hera is well behaved and has some basic obedience under her belt. She has good leash manners and truly enjoys her walks, breaking into a full happy dance the moment the leash comes out. She’s tolerant of grooming and handles everyday routines with calm confidence.
Hera has lived as an only dog and is most comfortable continuing on that way. While she hasn’t lived with children, she has spent time around kids as young as five and has done well.
She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative. She is fostered in Orlando and is ready for adoption. If you would like to make her a part of your family, please fill out an application and submit the processing fee.
