Zane became a member of the Warrington Family, April 2023!
Zane is a one year old (DOB December, 2021) brindle mantle and is an easygoing, sweet boy. He loves being close to his humans and works hard to please them. He tends to be lower energy and likes to spend much of his day lounging on the couch.
He can be shy when meeting new people and a little slow to warm up. Loud noises and sudden movements tend to scare him and make him nervous. Zane will require a Dane-savvy home that will slowly and lovingly help build his confidence. Ideally, his adoptive home would have a calm, structured environment without a lot of coming or going. There should also be someone around frequently. He does require a fenced yard.
Zane is dog friendly and would appreciate a large, chill companion that likes to play. He may also be okay with laid back cats. He is good with low energy children and is best with kids 5 years old and up. Zane isn’t always selective about his entertainment, so he requires crating when not supervised. So far, he has learned Sit and Leave It. His crate training, potty training and leash manners are a work in progress.
He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.
